The zirconium oxide ceramic blade with a rounded tip is non-conductive, anti-magnetic, and never rusts. It is chemically inert and stays sharp up to 10 times longer than steel blades. One ceramic blade from slice® is equivalent to up to 20 metal blades, reducing the need for frequent blade changes, minimizing downtime, and lowering the risk of injuries. The blade is simple to replace with the replacement SKU# 10404 or 10408.

The ceramic blade on the slice® box cutter only protrudes 1/2", making it ideal for cutting corrugated packaging, foam, vinyl, boxes, cardboard, and more. For cutting paper and thinner items, consider using the slice® 00116 precision cutter or 00100 safety cutter, or the pointed blades 10408.
